Katipatch Catchup Issue 24 - 18th January 2008

Dear Patchworkers,

A Happy New Year to all of our customers. We hope you enjoyed the festive season and all the wonderful warm weather we’ve been experiencing. Our sympathies are with the farmers who are trying to keep the milk supply going while running out of feed for their girls. Rain at night with sunny days would work well, wouldn’t it! Is that asking too much?

Welcome to any new Catchup readers. We hope you enjoy spending these next few moments taking in what Katipatch has to offer.

We turn 2 on Friday the 1st of February and we want to celebrate, but you get the presents. Our Quilters Quotas (0.3m) collection is overflowing, so out they go! Buy 2, get 1 free. Also, if you buy 1 inchworm you get another 1 free to the same value. Join us on the day and share some birthday cake.

Don’t forget we are Husqvarna Viking and Elna sewing machine agents if you are considering upgrading, and for those on a restricted budget please ask us about second-hand machines. Both companies have occasional promotions and we will inform you when any of these are available. If you already own one of these brands of machine, and are looking for particular accessories, we are happy to get these for you. If you purchase a machine from us, as well as lessons, you are registered for Wednesday Workshops free-of-charge for one term.

Please check out our website for our beautiful Block of the Month programmes  http://www.katipatch.co.nz/BOM/BOM.html  The pieces are all pre-cut for sewing which makes it much easier for those who lack confidence in cutting. Contact us on 07 549 5900 or send us an e-mail info@katipatch.co.nz if you would like to start, or a photo e-mailed to you.

Attached is a picture of The Toy Cupboard, which we will be starting in May and runs over 12 months. Finished size is 60” x 80” (single bed size). $33.80 + postage per month.
