Bargello
Class Description:
Traditional Bargello (or Florentine) embroidery designs consist of geometrically shaped patterns, like curves, zig zag patterns or diamonds. Usually the embroidery is made on canvas with woollen thread and is worked in several shades of different colours, going from light to dark and from dark to light, creating shadow or depth. Pieced Bargello quilts draw on this technique for their design and this class offers all the tips to make this as painless as possible.
