Friendship Blocks Rules
• Fabric must be good quality 100% cotton.
• You must make 12 blocks of any Flower pattern (pieced) or Flower design (appliqué) you like. They can all be different or all the same.
• Katipatch has selected and reserved a fabric from which you must purchase 0.5m for this project. Each block must contain a portion of this fabric. All other fabric choices must be in colours which match the reserved fabric. In order to retain good quilt combinations the background fabric of each block must be white, cream, black or a pale colour of those in the reserved fabric.
• Every block must be 12½ inches unfinished, 12 inches finished. If they don't, then please add a small border, or trim (whichever is required) until they do.
• Each block must have your name, town/country and year written on the front using a Pigma Pen or embroidery. Make sure all writing is at least ¼ inch away from all sides.
• Blocks must be completed and delivered by the final date, which will be in March 2012. You must make ALL the blocks on time. ONCE YOU SIGN UP YOU ARE COMMITTED.
• When we receive names of everyone who has joined, the whole list will be published on the Katipatch website www.katipatch.co.nz
• You will need to pay return postage if you are unable to collect or deliver your blocks. This is the only money involved.

• 12 different blocks including one of your own will be posted back to you (if you have included the postage) or made available for collection.
